BARGAIN !! Yehaaaa!!

I went back to my hometown, and guess what? I bought like 15 games... bargain time!! (^^;;
Let me list up the games I bought... mostly adventure type game, but I rather to be call these type of games as “Visual novel game” since you’ll just need to read or listen to the speech and sometimes select choices to proceed the game, and lastly completing the CG picture/movies as the goal.Well, its good source to learn (sometimes weird) japanese language, maybe. Ok, here we go…

Drag-on Dragoon 2 (knowned as Drakengard in US ver)

I would say these 2 games are worth to buy. Genji is more like Onimusha, but without the annoying controls. Player control is more like Devil May Cry, which is very good and easy to play in my opinion, also features in-play Dolby Digital Pro Logic II in 3 modes: Player, Camera & Real settings. Graphics is very nice, or I could say same quality as Onimusha and sometimes its almost hard to tell whether its playstation 2 pre-rendered or rendered movies.
Despite of the game play, Drag-on Dragoon has great storyline. I don’t say the gameplay is teribble, but it could be boring if you’ll just repeating same action all over again, which is very straight forward play, you’ll just need to go places as directed, no realtime simulation stategy like Dynasty/Samurai Warriors series. But it cool to kill with dragon overdrive skill. DOD2 has new features like no time limit to change members, targeting systems from the air, item equip, etc… still, the DOD2 is a cool game, and need less of memory space of 48kb.

Probably, you won’t find any type of this game anywhere in this world. It’s a trap action game, you set and initiate traps. Everything is in realtime, so you need to grasp precise timing to initiate traps.

Quite good sense in button setting, huh? The game itself is not that hard to understand, but you may need some practice before countering with strong enemies.

I play this one through. To be exact, I skipped the whole dialogue, and finished like at 5 to 7 minutes minutes after. Its quite annoying to press circle button everytime. It should have the auto dialouge. Its good to hear Kawasumi Ayako voices again...
