Finally I'm back from the 3 years of blanks. I didn't realize my 20Gigs HDD is almost full! Last time I downloaded animes like crazy was at year 2002. It was sad to leave Japan tho... (T-T)

Recently got Suteki Yume's fansub release till ep11. Its surprising that Gundam X is not licensed yet?! GundamX is my most favourite new era Gundam series of all*. Not-bad-at-all translation, but I'm a little upset they named Tifa as Tifa Adil... (Adil means "Fair" in my language...) I prefer Tifa Adiel tho... anyway, Tifa looks cute like always :) moemoe...

BROADBAND, YAY!!

YAY! Finally, I got my own my own Broadband connection! (I'm subscribing 1Mbps). FYI, 1Mbps is the fastest broadband for consumers in Malaysia (till 16th July 2005). The ISP said I only have 512k atm, and it'll maxed to 1Mbps in a month later... I simply dont understand why... maybe 2 month later 2Mbps or so? lol!
Anyway, it run around 50KB/s average, got to be happy with it :)

BARGAIN !! Yehaaaa!!

I went back to my hometown, and guess what? I bought like 15 games... bargain time!! (^^;;
Let me list up the games I bought... mostly adventure type game, but I rather to be call these type of games as “Visual novel game” since you’ll just need to read or listen to the speech and sometimes select choices to proceed the game, and lastly completing the CG picture/movies as the goal.Well, its good source to learn (sometimes weird) japanese language, maybe. Ok, here we go…

I would say these 2 games are worth to buy. Genji is more like Onimusha, but without the annoying controls. Player control is more like Devil May Cry, which is very good and easy to play in my opinion, also features in-play Dolby Digital Pro Logic II in 3 modes: Player, Camera & Real settings. Graphics is very nice, or I could say same quality as Onimusha and sometimes its almost hard to tell whether its playstation 2 pre-rendered or rendered movies.
Despite of the game play, Drag-on Dragoon has great storyline. I don’t say the gameplay is teribble, but it could be boring if you’ll just repeating same action all over again, which is very straight forward play, you’ll just need to go places as directed, no realtime simulation stategy like Dynasty/Samurai Warriors series. But it cool to kill with dragon overdrive skill. DOD2 has new features like no time limit to change members, targeting systems from the air, item equip, etc… still, the DOD2 is a cool game, and need less of memory space of 48kb.

Probably, you won’t find any type of this game anywhere in this world. It’s a trap action game, you set and initiate traps. Everything is in realtime, so you need to grasp precise timing to initiate traps.

Quite good sense in button setting, huh? The game itself is not that hard to understand, but you may need some practice before countering with strong enemies.

I play this one through. To be exact, I skipped the whole dialogue, and finished like at 5 to 7 minutes minutes after. Its quite annoying to press circle button everytime. It should have the auto dialouge. Its good to hear Kawasumi Ayako voices again...

I went to a store to buy a set of YAMAHA home theater speakers... RM600 (almost 20,000yen) Shoot, I must plan my money usage sometimes....

I finished the setup, and after that listen to Maksim live concert DVD (in DTS-ES mode of course!) and wow! NICE~ :D
Now I need a subwoofer! lol.

Sakura Wars 3 -Is Paris Burning?-

Nothing, really... I cleared the game this evening. Actually, I got and played this game in Dreamcast version, which was released in 2001, but recently it got it for the PS2 version. It was released in Feb 2005, well, not recently though... It just I was carried away with another game (mostly Tales of Rebirth). This is my first Sakura Wars game, even I know the title from the famous anime....

This is Hanabi, which is the most charmed character... (it's my taste, so what? :P)
I like when she blush and say "...oh" in the end of her speeches(…ぽっ in japanese). Well, she blush quite a lot.... (^^; 萌え～
*About the title: "Is Paris Burning?" is the last mission codename.

Sakura Wars 3 world is taking part in Paris... yes, not Tokyo, but Paris! The maincast is Ogami Ichiro; as the captain of secret organisation with totally different from previous members named "Paris Attack Force/Flower team"(Paris Kageki-dan/Hana-gumi). FYI, previous Sakura Wars was "Imperial Attack Force/Flower team"(...funny when translated tho ^^;). They fight evil spirits... (well, like most anime do). The battle happening around the famous landmarks of the Paris ...which is like a virtual tour to me.

So, what's so great about SakuraWars 3, anyway? Well, the game itself like a running drama, (it actually have a preview of next story too!), it has mostly speeched scripts, simple but fun (and many) mini-games, original and nice battle system! It has a mini game called Casino Wars in it! lol! Whats cool is, I knowing poker and blackjack with betting system from the mini game!
The quality of the arts and movies are surprisingly high. I'll upload some cool in-game captures after I get my equipments back... Btw, the characters are designed by the famous Fujishima Kosuke. (Ah! My Goodess, You're Under Arrest, Tales of Phantasia... etc)
I like the world settings and mechanics involved. The thing I most excited about is the Revolver Cannon (actually its a 6-shots Kobu launcher) come out from the 'Arc de Triumph!

The game overal is pretty easy, relaxing and less-stress to play.
People who are new for this kind of game might found its quite boring, but if you're not into it, find another game! Simple as that! haha :P

The OVA of this game is released, I hope there are fansubs for the anime... well, actually I can just watch the japanese raw vid tho... maybe I could see Hanabi in action.. nah, maybe not...
Too bad the anime quality is not high as the game does. :T

My First Blog

Yay! Finally I have a blog site! Maybe I'll put something here later.... or I should.... or maybe not...
This is a temporary blog site, or maybe not(hopefully). Recently I got my own telephone line in the room (finally!), expect the broadband connection by this month end. So, until then...

As I mentioned on the topic, I could help peoples, but I may get some really busy sometimes, so please understand.
